OpenAI CEO Sam Altman (샘 알트먼) will visit South Korea on June 14 and leave on the evening of June 15, visiting Samsung Electronics and Kakao over a one-night, two-day trip. He will hold a DX Insight Talk event with Samsung’s DX division employees in Suwon on June 15. Afterward, he will meet Kakao CEO Jeong Shin-a (정신아) in Pangyo to discuss additional cooperation, Kakao said.

Samsung will pursue an \"AI great transformation\" to overhaul the way it works and its organizational culture, it said on Monday. The group plans to adopt AI across all tasks at its affiliates, from research and development to production, marketing and support. It will officially introduce external generative AI services such as Gemini, ChatGPT and Claude in June. Samsung will also run an AX boot camp for affiliate presidents and provide staged training for about 2,300 executives, with all-employee training to be completed in 2026.
