Samsung Electronics expands \'The Frame\' into hotel TVs

Samsung Electronics is expanding its art TV, previously sold only to consumers, into the business customer market. The company on June 15 unveiled a hotel version of The Frame at the HITEC 2026 hotel technology show in San Antonio, Texas. The model features a 4K QLED display, anti-glare panel and a 27.5 mm slim design. It also includes Collection Hub, AI-generated wallpapers and live translation, plus Cast, AirPlay and LYNK Cloud management tools.

Korea Investment Securities to hold Korea-China investment strategy forum with Guotai Haitong Securities

Korea Investment Securities said it will hold a Korea-China investment strategy forum with China’s full-service brokerage Guotai Haitong Securities from June 15 to 17. The event aims to expand investment exchanges between the two countries’ capital markets and provide market information to domestic and foreign investors. Guotai Haitong analysts will present strategies in sectors including autos, AI, robots and IT, with Chinese firms taking part.

Samsung Electronics boosts Galaxy security, blocks phishing apps from installation to execution

Samsung Electronics is strengthening security features on its Galaxy devices to pre-empt mobile financial fraud such as malicious apps, messages and voice phishing. From One UI 9.0, set to ship on new smartphones in the second half of the year, it will enhance phishing app risk alerts and block suspicious apps from running. It is also expanding malicious message filtering and adding AI-based features including call screening and real-time voice phishing alerts.
